I moved here just over two years ago from Englewood, Colorado with my wife, Elizabeth, and our daughter Annabelle. We relocated here on a transfer with the company I worked for at the time, Intel Corp.’s Intel Security (McAfee) division. At the time, I supported enterprise-level network security products. Elizabeth began her first teaching position with Southwest Metro ISD 288 as a Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired. Shortly after moving here, Intel closed the St. Paul campus and I found work with Shakopee Public Schools, supporting our students and staff members as a Technology Paraeducator based at Red Oak Elementary School.
We have come to adore our new home: we love the vibrant, diverse community. We love the recreational opportunities. We love the community we have come to know at Shakopee Public Schools and Southwest Metro.
I am a volunteer in our community, serving on the Parks, Recreation, Trails & Open Space Steering Committee, and volunteering locally as a Metro Skywarn weather spotter. I’m also active in the MSEA Shakopee union, and the Minnesota Valley Branch of TCDSA.
We love this city, and I would be honored to serve you as city councilor.
